The Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas), also known as green turtle, black (sea) turtle, or Pacific green turtle, is a large sea turtle of the family Cheloniidae. The shell jaspures tend instead to be radiated into tasks as the other kind. The Green Tortoise is very variable in coloration within the same population but basically, it is greenish-brown with darker brown jaspures. This is due to vegetarian diet of adults of the species. It's a little shell ortabletterie used in jewelry because it is more fragile and thinner in thickness than that of the hawksbill turtle, "Eretmochelys imbricata". It is much rarer than the conventional shell.
